Jay Liotta

Mr. Liotta is a letterhead partner of MahoneyLiotta LLP and has 15 years of experience with Mongolia beginning in 2000 as a Peace Corps Volunteer. MahoneyLoitta is an amalgamation of some of the most experienced legal service providers and specialists from Mongolia and abroad. Mr. Liotta was named a leading lawyer for commercial practice in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, and as one of the world’s leading mining practitioners in Who’s Who Legal. He advises on market entry strategies, local partner selection and a diverse range of legal services in the minerals/energy, infrastructure, corporate and financial sectors, and has represented clients in arbitration at the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and in the courts of Mongolia up through the Supreme Court. In addition, he has been at the forefront of numerous legislation initiatives fundamental to investment and doing business in Mongolia. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Friends of Mongolia, and he is a member of the New York Bar Association and received a certificate from the Ministry of Justice as a registered foreign attorney in Mongolia.

Magnai Ganzorig
Vice Chairman

Magnai Ganzorig currently serves as Board Member and the Executive Director of G-Mobile LLC, one of the leading telecommunications company in Mongolia. Additionally, he has held several positions within Magnai Trade, LLC and its subsidiary companies including serving as the Head of the Information Technology Division, Director of Business Development and Executive Director of MT Market, LLC. Prior to joining Magnai Trade LLC he was a marketing manager at Capital Bank of Mongolia and the Executive Director of ARB Mongolia and currently serves as a Vice Chairman at American Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia . Magnai is proficient in three languages, his native language of Mongolian and is fluent in Russian and English. Magnai holds a Certificate of Study for Senior Management Training from the Joint Vienna Institute and earned a degree in Business Informatics in the United States from the Indiana University.


Jackson Cox
Founder & Director

Jackson Cox is Founder and CEO of Woodmont International, a private firm that was established in 2005 to provide public affairs and government relations consulting services to companies and investors in Mongolia and throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Cox was elected Chairman of the Asia Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce in March 2015. APCAC was established in 1968 and is the association of 30 American Chambers of Commerce in the Asia Pacific region. APCAC’s collective membership represents over 15,000 companies, 50,000 overseas American workers, and annual trade and investment of over US$500 billion. Mr. Cox is also the Founder and Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia – the official affiliate office of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia. Prior to founding Woodmont International, Mr. Cox worked in the international political sector where he managed projects in Mongolia and Cambodia for the International Republican Institute. Mr. Cox is from Johnson City, Tennessee and a graduate of Belmont University in Nashville. He served as the East Tennessee campaign chairman for Bill Frist’s successful campaign for United States Senate in 1994 and as the Political Director of Frist’s re-election in 2000. Mr. Cox served as advisor to Senator Frist in the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C. between the two campaigns.

Erik Versavel

Mr. Versavel is a Belgian national and holds a Master of Laws from the University of Antwerp. He is currently the Country Representative for ING Bank in Mongolia, having arrived in September 2016. Previously, Mr. Versavel has held Country Manager and CEO positions for ING in Ukraine, South Korea, China, and Indonesia. He has extensive experience managing international corporate client relationships and has worked with regulators, central banks, and governments to ensure stable and sustainable growth, and recovery of emerging and/or struggling economies.

Esentsengel Sukhee

Mr. Esentsengel has been the Deputy Director of MCS Holding LLC since 2012. His main role is in managing and representing MCS Holding as Board Director for various MCS subsidiaries in property development and real estate, telecommunication, and fast-moving consumer goods. In addition, he manages MCS group's risk management and is involved in number of internal business development projects. Before joining MCS, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Germany and Mongolia. He has been the driving force for bringing and developing PwC practice in Mongolia. He holds a diploma in oriented business administration from the University of Stuttgart, Germany.

Daniel Kesl

Daniel Kesl is Senior Manager, Information Technology at Oyu Tolgoi LLC and he has been working for Oyu Tolgoi since 2011, accountable for all aspects of Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) across the Oyu Tolgoi (OT) Mine site in the South Gobi and the company’s offices in Ulaanbaatar and Beijing. Daniel is a results-driven professional with extensive experience leading people and project teams, implementing and overseeing technology programs, and administering budgets in a multi-national environment.  He has more than 20 years of successful overseas experience in planning and directing activities that provide innovative solutions and technology to meet business requirements. Daniel assisted in the founding of the CIO (Chief Information Officer) Club of Mongolia, which unites the IT Leaders of the largest Mongolian companies.

David Reiner

David Reiner, Founding member & CEO of MSM Group LLC is a U.S. citizen with residence in Ulaanbaatar. He holds degrees in Economics/Politics Science and Law. Prior to his career at MSM, he worked as a Financial Adviser and Associate Lawyer in the USA, Japan, and Mongolia. He speaks English, Japanese, Mongolian, and Spanish.

Dolgion Erdenebaatar

Mr. Dolgion is the CEO of Bloomberg TV Mongolia, based in Ulaanbaatar. He was the first Mongolian television journalist to report from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. While covering stories from over 40 countries, Dolgion also covered stories and special programs from the trading floors of the New York and London stock exchanges. He worked for WCOV-FOX 20 in Montgomery, Alabama in the USA. He is also the publisher of Mongolia’s premier business daily, ZGM/Financial Times, and serves as Chairman of the Board at JCDecaux Mongolia. As an economist, he is currently completing his doctoral thesis on financial crises and the role of institutional investors at IFE. Mr. Dolgion holds a master’s degree from Peking University, P.R.C. He received a bachelor’s degree in security studies from Bradford University, United Kingdom.

Onchinsuren Dendevsambuu

Onchinsuren is the Country Managing Director of Deloitte Onch and has 18 years of experience in the professional accounting services industry and is one of only 18 CPAs in Mongolia who passed the first internationally recognized CPA examination in 1999. She worked with the Big 4 firms in Ulaanbaatar and in Moscow before starting her own practice in Ulaanbaatar. Ten years ago she founded Onch Audit, the predecessor to Deloitte Onch and has lead the audit firm into a multi-function, professional services firm providing audit, tax advisory, and consulting services to leading Mongolian and multinational companies in Mongolia.

Oybek Khalilov

On September 14, 2015 Oybek joined Tenger Financial Group as the CEO of Tenger Insurance LLC, and was nominated to represent Xac Bank as a Corporate Member at AmCham Mongolia. For 20+ years Mr. Khalilov has worked in the private insurance market area working with American International Group, Inc. He has spent five years from 1994 to 1999 with American International Group, Inc. in London/UK serving as the CEO of political risk JV. He was in charge of AIG general insurance operations in Central Asia and Caucasus from 2000 to 2015. His entire professional career is showcased by major contributions in taking companies to greater levels of financial, competitive, and operational performance. He has an in in-depth knowledge of property, energy, casualty, and financial lines and accident insurance and political risk insurance products. Oybek joined AmCham in Uzbekistan in 1997 and held positions of Board Secretary, Chairman of Banking and Finance Committee, Chairman of Membership Committee. Oybek was elected as Vice-President of AmCham in Uzbekistan in 2000. In May 2010 resigned with honors from the Board in Uzbekistan and in March 2012 was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of American Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan.

Steve Potter

Steve Potter is the Managing Director of Wagner Asia Equipment. Steve has 40 Years of Caterpillar & Caterpillar Dealer management experience in 10 countries on 3 continents (Europe, Middle East & South-East Asia). He has a very strong background in the mining industry plus has well-rounded knowledge of all segments of the equipment distribution business, including construction and mining equipment, used equipment, power generation, and marine products. He also has sound knowledge of the equipment rental business, after market support, and finance.
