Golomt Bank of Mongolia successfully organized its 16th Student Science and Research Conference to support, teach, and mentor university students while providing a platform for learning, exchanging knowledge and networking.
This year’s participants competed by creating a video on financial knowledge rather than presenting on advanced financial aspects. Since the competition was not limited by major nor age, large number of students in the non-finance major also competed.
74 teams from 31 universities (a total of 153 students) submitted 39 entries for the video competition for this year’s conference.
Golomt Bank instructed the participants to create videos on topics such as the benefits of having a savings account, the differences between bonds and stocks, and how interest rates are set up, with an emphasis on expressing their ideas in a simple way. The student teams used info-graphics, GIFs, comedic skits, and other creative ways to share their message.
The winning contents were selected based on their innovation, creative approach, use of economic theories, design, and other factors.
