Intellectual Property Rights Seminar

AmCham Mongolia will co-host the Technical Assistance Program on Commercial Law: A Look at Intellectual Property Rights in Mongolia with the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Embassy in Ulaanbaatar and the State Registration and Intellectual Property Rights Office of Mongolia. This two-day event will feature insightful presentations by international experts who will share perspectives regarding the enforcement of intellectual property rights in Mongolia. In addition, AmCham members representing the private sector will present Mongolia-specific case studies followed by analysis from the expert guests. The seminar will cover the areas of trademark, infringement and enforcement related to IPR. Special guests of the seminar will include the Honorary Jennifer Zimdahl Galt, U.S. Ambassador to Mongolia; senior Mongolian government officials; Evan Williams, Regional Intellectual Property Law Enforcement Coordinator, U.S. Department of Justice, Hong Kong; Joel Blank, Intellectual Property Attaché, Patent and Trademark Office of the U.S. Department of Commerce in Beijing; and Timothy Browning, Patent and Trademark Office from the U.S. Department of Commerce. AmCham Mongolia 2016 Trade Mission to the United States

In an effort to strengthen the commercial relationship between Mongolia and the United States, AmCham Mongolia, will host the third annual Trade Mission to the United States from June 20-24, 2016.
