Unitel STEAM Hub program expands across Mongolia
Unitel Group, committed to enhancing access to science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) education and promoting e-skills across Mongolia, has successfully implemented its Unitel STEAM Hub program in 21 provinces this year. This initiative provides valuable training and resources to local communities, empowering educators and students with the skills to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
The Unitel STEAM Hub has expanded its offerings, delivering training and certification programs to teachers and specialists across 21 provinces. The training covers a variety of disciplines, with a focus on problem-solving, creative thinking, and foundational knowledge that will help prepare the next generation for careers in engineering and other technical fields. Five distinct training programs are being provided to equip educators with the tools to foster innovation and critical thinking among children.
The STEAM Hubs are located at the Department of Family, Children, and Youth Development in each province, offering services to the public and benefiting people of all ages. One of the program's primary goals is to support teachers by providing dual employment opportunities, improving their income, and creating favorable working conditions in local communities.
As part of this initiative, Unitel recently organized Space Week events in 21 provinces, giving children a unique opportunity to explore the wonders of space science. These events, hosted at Unitel STEAM Hubs, saw a remarkable turnout of 31,000 children, all of whom were introduced to the exciting possibilities in the field of space science and encouraged to engage with scientific thinking in a fun and creative manner.
