Trade and Development Bank of Mongolia to participate at the World Economic Forum
The 55th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) will take place in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, from January 20 to 25, 2025. The WEF is a premier global platform that brings together leaders from international organizations, governments, business sectors, and civil society to address pressing social and economic challenges.
Trade and Development Bank (TDB) has participated in the forum three times in the past. This year, the TDB will be represented by Chairman of the Board of Directors Randolph Koppa and Deputy CEO N. Sergelen, who will engage in high-level dialogues on global economic and developmental issues.
TDB, a globally recognized financial institution, has maintained a partnership with the World Economic Forum since 2010. In June 2023, Mongolia took a significant step forward by becoming an official strategic partner of the WEF, marking its first formal partnership agreement with the Forum. This development aligns with Mongolia's broader aspirations to elevate its global economic engagement.
To be selected as a strategic partner of the World Economic Forum, an organization must meet rigorous criteria, including significant contributions to national and global economic development, collaboration with both regional and international businesses, and mutual recognition among global leaders. TDB’s participation underscores its continued commitment to advancing Mongolia’s economic interests on the world stage.
